Transportation

If you will be arriving by train or bus to the area please note that our local service is infrequent. We recommend you use the Flexi-bus to complete your journey from Cupar to The Rings.

Flexi Bus

As a rural location we are served by the “Flexi-Bus” which operates like a taxi, with prior booking required, but only charges the cost of a bus fare.

Service Busses

There is also a standard bus stop at the top of the hill outside Chance Inn village. On the A916. 0.9 miles from The Rings

There are no footpaths on the road from A916 through Chance Inn and up to The Rings, however the road is a peaceful rural Q road and there are many people who walk, cycle or horse ride along it, so local drivers are aware to drive with care.

The service bus is the 64/64A from Cupar to Craigrothie. This bus passes approximately once an hour.

The closest bus station is in St Andrews (10 miles away) or in Glenrothes (12 miles away)
